First attempts at high key.
I'm claiming this one for 24th despite the actual date of the shot because the whole process of making it started a good while before midnight.
Not happy with the composition/crop but I didn't have a lot of room for manoeuvre, and couldn't stop the light blow-out on the back of the roof despite repeated juggling. Still, I'm awarding myself A for effort if not for anything else :-)
Two observations:
1 - Cameras should come with a Swear-Blue Air white balance pre-set.
2 - If you want to find out how much air movement and vibration there is in your dwelling, suspend a small, toy mini car from the boom of a mic stand with two pieces of sewing thread and see how long it takes for the mini to stop swaying.
Still, I had great fun with this and will give it another go sometime but I don't think I can face using the mini again. :-DD
