I noticed recently how much this field had changed since the previous time I took photos of it *, so took a (large) detour on the way to get the newspaper this morning and spent a bit more time with it.
Only trouble was, somebody rolled out of a junction right in front of me on the way home and I couldn't stop in time. None of us was hurt but my car's going to need some replacement bodywork.
So there won't be much gallivanting for a while. Oh well, where's the toaster? ;-)

Sorry about the car, Alison....ouch!....but glad you're fine. I love the comparison of scenes. This is such a pretty simple view and so beautifully composed and photographed.
love the lines - but what a miserable cost to get that lovely shot! Glad you weren't hurt - cars can be fixed. Besides, your close to home shots are always fun.
A lovely shot, great composition. Lines leading to the line of trees and the beautiful blue sky. I notice the green just coming thro the earth, makes quite a different look to the last shot. Glad you ok. Such a nuisance being without car, hope it's soon back. Maybe we will see more of the sweet worms.
Shot is beautiful though
This is a lovely composition. Definately lines shadows and blue.
Sorry about the negative space that is the front of your car now!
