Unfortunately he no longer has the images on his site I was thinking about. But he did his ARPS panel on sand shots. Some really interesting things came out of it in a really detailed way.
I spoke to my friend who does the beach photos today. He gave me a link to his Royal Photographic Society "Associate Panel" for which he submitted the beach photos I was thinking about. Have a look at these... https://www.flickr.com/photos/old-sea-eagle-at-kiloran/
As a result of these he became an ARPS.
@netkonnexion Thank you for the links. Those sand patterns are lovely. I particularly like the dendritic ones. There's one in particular that I think looks like Dendritic Jasper, which appeals to my love of Nature's tendency to repeat herself.
