This is one of the old railway sleepers that separates the gravelled area from the grass in our garden. Somehow or another this little aubretia has left its parents about 2 feet away and set up home in a crack in the wood.

Such a useful plant. Apart from that, the focus is really good, you can make out the texture on the leaves, and the wood.
