The other thing I did today was spend a bit of time trying to get a good angle on this lovely fossil rock. It comes from Lyme Regis, Dorset - famous for its fossil beach and The Cobb, its harbour wall, which featured in The French Lieutenant's Woman.

Fantastic shot. This has to be technically perfect.
The detail, focus, exposure, angle, and framing are all great. And an excellent background, I really like how it falls off into darkness.
