Growing up fast

I took heed of a gut feeling and went onto the canal towpath when I took my walk this morning. I hadn't gone very far when I came across mum swan with her six cygnets. They were all busy preening and didn't notice me, so I was able to get very close to them and I spent half an hour watching them and taking pictures. I've filled today's albums with my favourite shots.
They're very nearly adult size now, so it seemed odd to hear them still cheeping like tiny chicks.
