Early or late? by dulciknit

Early or late?

Probably early. I think this is the member of the Prunus (plums, cherries) family that usually blossoms in late January/early February. This one tree is currently blooming away quite happily in Chesham park.
Amazing for this time of year!!

Echo what Jessica said. Poor plants don't understand our weird weather!

A beautiful shot. I wonder if spring will be even earlier next year.

Thank you for the lovely comments and everything, people. I don't do this very often but I do appreciate the time and trouble you take over my shots very much.

@dulciknit I saw a tree full of blossom today, but the flowers were much smaller than yours. I couldn't identify it, could it have be almond? Or cherry?

@hamble I suspect they might have been the same size as this one. It's only about as big as a 10p piece, the close up and pov have made it look bigger. I *think* it's a Prunus of some sort.
