Lightship Sula by dulciknit

Lightship Sula

Sula (originally LV14) was built in 1959 and served her time as a navigation aid in the mouth of the river Humber until 1985. Her current function is a holistic therapy centre at Gloucester Docks. She's painted bright red, as she would have been when doing her original work. I thought the whole image worked best in black and white, though.
It certainly does. Makes you focus on the shadows and lines and pillars. The lightship also is clear cut. Really nice composition.
