I love trees. I love the shadows they make. I've got other tree shadow shots dotted around my albums, but not these particular tree shadows, until now.
This road is very close to where I live.
It works better on large view if you have a moment.

They are, aren't they? That got me thinking because it's just the sort of puzzle I love.
I came up with :
Camera clock is set correctly.
We're currently using BST which is an hour ahead of GMT, so in the shot it's still an hour until the sun reaches the highest point in the sky.
It's still Spring here so the sun won't be reaching full zenith for a while yet, so the shadows won't be fully shortened yet.
