Exciting news - this morning I finally managed to book the cruise that is in effect my birthday present to Colin for his big birthday next year! We have been liaising with the company, sending emails, studying the website and having made a choice, the website had a glitch so I have had to wait for almost a week to be able to book! I’ve gone for a ‘Grand Dream Suite’ which comes with priority boarding, a concierge and access to a special restaurant on our own table.
After that I wrote a series of emails to ask my various card retail outlets if they would like to stock Christmas cards this year and if so the designs and quantities. It is always strange but what I do each year - to make up cards of snow and ice whilst sat in shorts with the fan on.
We enjoyed an iced coffee outside and discussed a potential trip to Italy next May as we are going to try and celebrate Colin’s big birthday by doing something different each month.
