It was a busy day today although it sorted well with a relaxing pedicure and general foot care session - I went for ‘True Blue’ this time. After a relaxing hour it was straight onto the 33 bus into Twickenham to deliver cards and a print to the People Hive and then - moving rapidly - managed to cross the road and get the bus back again within literally ten minutes.
It was a brief stop for lunch before it was on the bus again to Richmond to collect some jeans that I had ordered which surprisingly fitted really well and were cheaper than the ones I normally buy but reduced from £69 - result!
The day went a little downhill at this point as the very crowded first bus I had to rush to catch promptly broke down before it even left the bus station as apparently the gearstick had jammed. Luckily another R68 pulled in behind this one and being first off I managed to get on first and secured a seat. All went well until this bus broke down as well as a red light had appeared on the dashboard which meant the driver had to stop. Luckily I realised we were next to a short cut through Grove Gardens so the end of my journey was on foot.
Then a drive over to Hampton Hill to stock up on supplies for Mr Huffkins and to take Colin to see Tess the podiatrist who sorted out his foot problem very swiftly - although not as pretty as mine!
