Tome Island by etienne

Tome Island

Tome is the closest island to our shore. The summit is at 64 meters vs mid-tide level.

It is a preserved area since 1997, and all access is prohibited. Before 1997, I remember the local sailors stopping there from time to time for a nice summer picnic ; our neighbour's twin daughters were regularly windsurfing up to there as well. There was a goat farm on the island in ancient times.
A beautiful peacefulness about this capture.

This one has cooler tones than the others, but still lovely. Must have been a beautiful walk.

The slight mist over the water, in front of the Island, is so beautiful.

What a gorgeous combination of tones and lighting. I like how it feels a little like a watercolour. :)
