First crop of the new season

Radish is usually the first vegetable to come in the garden at springtime. The leaves are edible and tasty as well, but only if you grow your own radishes, because the leaves fade within one hour after the harvest.

They look radishiously in the nice light. Home grown crops taste the best! Enjoy :) Over here, all my efforts to let crops grow are terrorised by snails!

@kvphoto Hi KV, the leaves taste a bit like the radish itself but softer. I find that they work well with goat cheese or with cured meat.

@stimuloog Hi Marloes, since you live not far from the sea, did you try to spray some sand over the ground around your crops ? It works for me. Ashes from a wood fire would work as well.
