Crossroad

This is a typical country crossroad in our area of Brittany. Stone crosses like that are usually several century old, the most recent ones I know around here are from the first half of the 20th century. The details of the sculpture are rather rough, as the local granite is very hard to work with. Sometimes, the base of the monument is carved as well, often with scenes of the life of Saint Yves, the most popular patron saint.

Has a lot more character than a yellow triangle. Interesting history and info. Love the pov.
