Over next week-end the small fishing harbour of Paimpol near here will be packed with old sails, gathering for the yearly "Festival du Chant de Marin". The streets will be crowded with old sailor bands singing old sailor songs. Tons of oysters and mussels will be eaten in the streets. It is one of the largest and of the most convivial sea celebrations in Brittany, and it attracts plenty of sea lovers in a gigantic communion.
All along this week, we have been able to see some old sailboats passing by our shore on their way to Paimpol.
