Misty Morning 2 by eudora

Misty Morning 2

Misty is my euphemism for rainy, crummy weather; we've had over 12 inches of rain this month. This is not all bad: I was able to get my painters to come on short notice because it's too wet for them to work on their current, exterior job.

This is the fifth of 35 pictures with my 35mm lens (Pentax 35mm f/2.8 Macro Limited), a challenge I set for myself because It's a great lens that I was underusing. Tomorrow, I'll experiment more with apertures as I wasn't too pleased with this shot.
Beautiful!

I like the idea of using the same (different!) lens for a few days - good idea!

Love this isolated raindrop, so well defined against the background.

Very nicely done..
just read your comment on my picture of the man on the ice. what a horrible experience for you at a young age..I guess if that happened to me I wouldn't forget it either. these fisherman out here are crazy. normally by this time of the year we have lots of fishhuts out on the ice and people drive their either in cars, trucks or snomobiles..so this year they are aintsy because we already have the middle of January and the ice even in the shallow bay here isn't safe enough for ice fishing.
