Why flowers aren't B&W

I'm posting this reluctantly. I'm trying to do February in B&W, but the color version is so much better! I'm already way behind--this only 6 weeks into the year I vowed to get back to shooting and posting every day. So much for New Year's resolutions!

i find it hard to keep up here at 365 too. pretty hydrangea. i like the edges of the petals

Nice light and shadows. Whle color for flowers is indeed beautiful I think the B&W makes us focus more on the lines and shapes. something we don'tnotice as much in color! Good for you for going otside the box!

I'm sure the color version is lovely, but my thought is that the b/w version brings out the "texture" of the petals so much more. I really like it!
