Every so often I have to post a picture of a Hadacol sign. This one is so rusty it's almost illegible. When we moved to Louisiana in 1976, I fell in love with the music, food, history and culture. I took a continuing education course in Cajun French where I learned about "Coozan" Dudley LeBlanc, who developed and marketed Hadacol, a patent medicine. Hadacol was widely sold but its popularity may have had more to do with its alcohol content than the vitamins that were supposed to cure what ailed you.
