Last week Baton Rouge had record cold weather with snow and sleet, really unusual for us. Schools, roads and state offices were closed. Most of us hunkered down and tried to stay warm and keep our pipes from freezing. When it warmed up a bit, my husband and I took advantage of Restaurant Week to eat at one of our favorites, Mansur's on the Boulevard.
