Ferries carried vehicles and passengers across the Mississippi River until a second bridge made ferries obsolete. Now they are talking about a third bridge.

I love this in black-and-white. Interesting shapes especially in the lights. Such a shame for this to no longer be used

Good subject matter for a black and white shot. Architecture always has good lines. I wonder what would actually be more cost effective- building another bridge or re-opening the ferry run.
