I never knew Marisol Heredia, but I photographed her grave once for her family and was moved by her story. I always stop and pay my respects to a woman who died too young while serving in the US Army.
One of the most moving things I've done was Wreaths Across America- placing wreaths at Christmas on the Vets' graves. I didn't know them, but their names meant something to me because of the price they paid. Nicely captured.
