I was in the driveway thinking I would take a photo of the worm chewed fence railing when I saw what I thought was sap in a knot on the pepper tree on the other side of the fence. So I climbed the fence and perched on top of it while taking this photo. It was a precarious perch since I am not a small person...or a particularly agile climber and the pepper tree was about three feet away. I was irritating a bird while there. Maybe I will park on the wall proper some day to get some photos of it...if I can ever find it!
I don't know what all that not sap is, but I think it adds interest to my macro wood photo.
@365projectorgjenfurj You have no idea. If my children could see what I get up to now, I am not sure if they would fall over laughing or give me a great big "Yay Mom". Probably a combination.
