Well, it's not really lizard lips, more like half a lizard, but you can SEE the lizard's lips. Just writing that sentence made me exhausted.
I emptied a bucket on the garden wall and set it upside down. As I did so, I noticed the numerous millipedes that had sheltered under it. Then something moved...much faster than millipedes move...and I had a second of increased heart rate before I realized that it was Mr. Lizard.
I went inside to get my camera as he didn't seem in a hurry to go anywhere. He was still there when I got back from the other end of the house and let me take 20 plus photos. He let me get super close.
I love the sharpness of the photo and the lovely color of the apricot leaf behind him.
