The fir tree by the road is in a constant state of peeling bark. As it peels, it creates interesting layers of color. This is a focus stacked image using 44 images starting from the left. It was an experiment that I look forward to playing with some more.
@kali66 that's a result of not really knowing what I'm doing! :) I advanced the focus points manually just a scosh rather than selecting them because I kept missing places that way. It's all a learning experience.
