Yesterday morning everyone in Cyprus woke up to this view. Well, not THIS exact view, because that is from my veranda, but everywhere one looks one sees nothing but dense haze as a result of a dust storm. It is expected to last through Thursday and is dangerous to everyone at risk for lung problems. I can attest to that fact that as my asthma went into overdrive yesterday and has been letting me know that the air is filled with stuff.
