@granagringa Thank you! Thankfully, there are lots of these trees around me, so I can feed her and leave some for everyone else.
@maggiemae Your question prompted me to do some research. I am glad I did. This tree is also known as False Pepper. Its corns are sold as pink peppercorns even though it is not related to the pepper vine from which we get black pepper. I have used them as peppercorns, and they definitely have a peppery taste and aroma. Another day of learning...it's a good thing. :)
