Last persimmon

One of the fields near us has several types of fruit trees in it. It is very badly maintained. All of the fruit is left to rot or be eaten by the birds.

Now that I have found this strange orchard, I look forward to the spring when everything blooms.

The texture, the softness of the skin of the persimmon is almost palpable. Beautiful shot; and really nice symmetry of the branch really works here.
