I was in search of texture for the macro texture challenge this morning, but I got side-tracked by a patch of poppies.
I was taking a photo of a different poppy in this patch when I glanced over and saw this one at this angle. I liked it so took this photo. I like the blue of the stamens and the crinkly texture of the petals. I guess I didn't get completely side-tracked.

@maggiemae Thank you very much! Yes, they are blue. They are a lovely little poppy, not as vibrant as the other patch, nor are they as large.
