Hay Field Up Close and Personal

I like grass/wheat stalks. I like the way the sun shines through them and the way the fields look like a sea as the wind ripples across them.

This is a poor attempt at isolating a single stalk. The wind was too strong; I should have left it for another day.

I do like the layers of color, though. It is very hazy today, which is evident in that greenish-blue sky.
