I had a feeling the petals of this flower against the blue of the sky would be amazing. I figured it would be a little challenging to take the photo since it is a groundcover plant. I hadn't anticipated HOW challenging it would be! Rephrase that...how amusing it would be!
I ended up holding my camera upside down, looking through my off eye, without my glasses (darn bifocals!), BBF with my thumb and taking the shot with my pinky finger because that's the only way I could get everything to work. Orchard owner was working on his tractor in the orchard and stopped working to see if I was okay because I was lying on the ground for so long!
The image isn't great, but I do like the colors and the shapes, and I had to post it so I could tell y'all about being "rescued"!
