Winter wreaks havoc on electric fencing. Every spring calves discover that there is no power to the fence and start wandering out of the back pasture.
So, every spring we power up the front field, which is the quickest and easiest to repair, and bring all the cows and calves to the front to teach the calves to respect the fence.
Today was the day.
Interesting looking horns....they turn down!!!!! i understand about the fencer, we did much the same when we first let them out after a long winter inside.
