Parents of young children can relate to this tale. (Insert the word children instead of geese whenever necessary to make the point)
The hundreds of geese were raucous for hours as they flew into our front field to spend the night. They had finally settled down, ready to sleep; when something disturbed them.
So, there was an unexpected explosion of birds as I was walking home from my photo excursion. I managed to take a quick shot - and this is the result.
So, they were again up, and making a thunderous noise for another half hour before finally settling down for the night.
Seeing snow geese fill the sky like this always puts me in mind of the flying monkeys in Wizard of Oz (except the geese are much less threatening.) A special capture.
Thanks for the fav's ladies!
