Oh love it, we got one confirmed and two other Banksys over in Hull recently, the confirmed one was covered over with white paint within 48hours! Luckily it was washed off by a window cleaner and the last I heard it had some Perspex placed over it!

@suzanne234 I carefully omitted the bit at the bottom where there has been graffiti. Sad isn't it!

A well done piece of graffit. Of course, I had never heard of this artist before so had to break away to do some research. You did a nice job of capturing this image.

That's massive! Surely someone would have seen him at work, right?

Brilliant - if only it was that easy!

@wildbash Surprisingly no! Scaffolding had been erected around the side of the building and because it is derelict no-one thought anything more of it. I think the actual painting must have been carried out during the night because all of a sudden, there it was!

Very clever :)

Great picture, hopefully the council won't take it down or paint over it like in Hull. City of Culture!

Is this a big mural? I've looked at it and looked at it and can't quite decide what it is. It's so good.

@robz Oh it's big Rob, you can't miss it. It's painted on the side of a 4 storey building. The man and ladder are life size. I was standing at the bottom not crouching down on the ground. The 12 stars represent the 12 founder members of the European Union and my interpretation is the man on the ladder is chipping away at the EU (the UK voting for Brexit) and causing it to crumble hence the cracks emanating out from the damaged star. If you Google it there's quite a bit of information out there. Then again you can interpret it as the UK trying to leave is only damaging itself (which hopefully it is not)!
