and the fascination grew. I bought an IR filter at first but because you have to use a tripod and slow shutter speeds with a filter it was rather cumbersome so I got my little cheap D50. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube re post processing which is the fiddly bit till you get used to it (Gavin Hoey has some good ones) and because I use PSE11 I had to get Elements+ to give me a Channel Mixer to swap the Reds and Blues over. If you would like me to send you a step by step list of how I get to the end result, would be happy to do so. I do use Nik filters which although now discontinued, I did find a link the other day on how to download these (for free) legally if that helps.
