This started out with a YouTube tutorial on light painting and crystal balls. I put a ball on a mirror and played with some little light sticks. Nowhere near as easy as it was in the tutorial! The ball kept rolling all over the mirror so had to be anchored with sellotape. This showed up beautifully so I attempted to 'melt' the ball's reflection only to get carried away. No need to comment, yet another experiment I won't be repeating for a while yet!
LOL FB - this is awesome - but are you sure there was no alcohol involved in this experiment?? Just joking - it really looks like it's worth trying again - so many possibilities. :)
Very cool abstract. It is hard to keep the ball from rolling. I use a tiny piece of clay to hold the ball in place. It works pretty most of the time. I hope you attempt it again!
Hi partner! I see you've been playing with masks and layers recently. Your challenge is to try the Harris-Shutter effect. Here's an article to get you started: https://expertphotography.com/how-to-the-harris-shutter-effect/
