The Warren, Folkestone

Yesterday at the beach a small boat had been beached on the shingle. The tide must have been strong to have abandoned it where it was.

When we went there this morning I was hoping it would still be there as the photographs I'd taken the day before were not up to scratch. The weather was also sunshine mixed with showers so I was hoping for a rainbow. My first wish was granted, sadly not the second.

The sea is a lovely shiny silvery colour at this time with the cloud cover. A very big beach and nobody on it - all to yourself!

@maggiemae Thanks Maggie, the road leading to this beach is very badly maintained and full of potholes so not many people go there. My car is so old and tough I don't mind the small craters too much!
