Can I Still Call Myself a Chef?

This week was so hard!!!

I am a stay at home mom. My children were out of school this week due to ice and snow, so despite having a lot of concepts in mind I have had very little time to actually try to get anything done!

Anyways, once upon a time I graduated from culinary school and worked as a chef. Tea parties with my wee ones are about as close as I get to anything chef-like these days but I would like to think I still make some pretty yummy dinners!

@MegStorey
I like all of the pink! I saw a shot that you posted earlier, it was with you and your two kids making the cupcakes...... I like dthat one too. Did you delete it?

@marco17 Thank you Micah! Yes, our group is for selfies and I wasn't quite sure that one would pass for our project. It is on my page though! =) Those are my girls! They do enjoy a good tea party! =D

So sweet and fun for your kiddos. How amazing a background to have! I'd love to have had such a training in cooking. And what time is tea?;-)

@tremerryn Thank you Termerryn!!! It was fun and the kids liked it too!

@amandal Tea is whenever you arrive! We, unfortunately, eat at a different time every night with sports and the husband working late, etc. *sigh* I love cooking and dinner guests! Fly on down sometime. =)

@megstorey I love the contrast of the pink and silly with the serious chef in you armed with that blazer torch.

@twr @luvthyclassics @webfoot @kali66 @roseolivia Thank you all!!!! I really appreciate your kind words! =) I definitely hope that our meals together are something that they will remember well into their adulthood! They are great kids always putting up with odd foods and experimentation's that I put in front of them! Haha!

you look quite the chef and you make meals for your family so you're a chef! love the pink theme going on here. when my niece was still a little girl, we used to play afternoon tea, i taught her how to make those cute sandwices, used real china and dressed for the occasion. oh, how this photo brings out some good memories. love it!
