@summerfield If stored on electromagnetic recording media (like tapes, credit cards, hotel mag-stripe key, cassettes, some film, etc)...you bet! Be careful with your mobile phone around these items as well since a magnetic filed can be produced by your phone (i.e. don't put your hotel key next to your mobile phone in your pocket or purse). If stored on silicon, I don't thing so.....
