So, after a great deal of searching and reading about the human need for sex, intimacy and other such things, here are my thoughts...
Sex is still primal. Perhaps sex is not as important as food, water, shelter and the need to survive but it is necessary for continuation of the species... Beyond that though and more importantly sex provides a uniquely intimate connection that cannot be matched by any other social interaction. I have an innate and undeniable need to be touched, held, kissed and known in a physical and spiritual way. Our souls are one... Not merely combined in a physical way but in a divine way. I am infinite and in the moment... Sex is spiritually healing; gluing the pieces of our souls back together after long days of stress. Perhaps not for some, but I would feel less human and incomplete without the physicality that comes from being with another human being.
@summerfield Indeed... I wasn't sure that I should post this but decided I would go against my better judgement and do so anyway. It was my first though when I knew the weeks theme way primal. Always go with your gut right? Maybe not? That whew is positive right?! Haha!
