Okay, okay...I'm cheating. This isn't a selfie although I am in it - time being what it is this weekend, this is as good as it's going to get (I think I left my run too late this week).
It's definitely a "youth" photo though as this was taken on the occasion of my brothers First Communion (he's the nattily dressed chap on the front left. Now he's a bigoted redneck with excessively racist tendencies). We no longer talk.
My mother and father are of course behind us, attired in their finest 70's garb.
And I'm the little bugger front right that doesn't want to be there - I could already feel the niggling pull of the darkness, psychosis and manic behaviour. Shortly after this shot was taken it became impossible for me to venture on to Holy Ground for fear of spontaneously combusting.
This is too much for me to process but amazing :) "before" the darkness? It's definitely already in you but in a more innocent way I guess. :) Wonderful photo!
@vignouse The disturbing thing is that my mother can also raise the eyebrow, as can my daughter. Mr. S also does it...we're a terrifying bunch. @francoise That's about all we have in common these days... @kerosene It was always there, just never nurtured ;)
