The Orphic Egg is the cosmic egg from which hatched the primordial Deity, Phanes.
Hatched from the golden Orphic Egg, Phanes the first born was "golden winged and primordial" and was the seed of men, gods and lucifer.

@kerosene And then I didn't really answer you - it's 4 of my shots merged and layered and played around with - the dragon is a little (tiny) ornament that was lying around gathering dust...once I researched more than Orpheus and dug a bit deeper this morning it just came together. Thankfully.
