what coincidence that my artist sister in manila sent this little frame she made for me and it arrived on the weekend, in time for this week's mixed media theme. she did those flowery bits with paper quills that she cut herself out of scraps of paper, printed the invictus poem, then fashioned a frame and covered it with a victorian giftwrapper then covered it with plastic. from what kali told me of mixed media, this was it. and all i did was overlay my photo and le voilà!
