it's a good thing that, although i am very good at research and could act and bullshit my way if i need to, i did not choose a career in espionage. why, if i got caught, the enemy only has to say the word "snake" and i'd be giving them all secrets, even the ones of my neighbours. and i know even if i divulge all secrets, the enemy would still throw me down a pit of those vile creatures. even that thing there from the caduceus will be enough to give me the worst nightmares tonight, if i ever get to sleep.
@kali66 - if you can believe it, i was born in the year of the snake in the Chinese astrology signs. for our ancient history theme, i was going to do that Cleopatra thing with a snake. i went to the toy store to get a rubber snake, but it looked so real i could not even touch it, much less pay for it and bring it home! that caduceus snake symbol is the best i could muster as although i know they're snakes, they don't look as menacing as the toy ones and the real ones. you know, i am so afraid of dogs, but i would cuddle with a german shepherd anytime but look at a snake? I'd probably have a heart attack!
This is perfect for a phobia. I have a big fear of snakes also. When I was young, I used to have dreams I was being chased by a snake and my legs wouldn't run.
