Memories of the Village Blacksmith

Good to see these old skills have not died out completely. The museum opposite our house has a forge where visiting blacksmiths can demonstrate their craft. It was a joy to watch this chap at work a couple of hours ago.

I grew up in a village with a thriving Blacksmith business which is sadly no longer going. It good to hear that some traditions continue.
