Lightning Strikes Twice

Lightning does not strike twice in the same place supposedly, but this giant redwood at Anglesey Abbey was struck twice in a 12 year period.

That must be one sturdy tree! Not in great shape but at least it's still standing.

I remember seeing this tree, or what's left of it. I suspect it was magnificent once.
