Hurrah, we've been up a big hill. And it was all cloudy and moody and fabulous. This is Stoodley Pike near Hebden Bridge.The monument itself, visible in the distance was first built after the Battle of Waterloo and then rebuilt at the end of the Crimean War. The ridge gives you views all over Calderdale. We walked about 8 miles and stopped at the pub for pint on the way home. Getting in the good times before it pours down all weekend.
