This double amaryllis was beautiful. Some dead flowers retain a sense of beauty but I'm not sure this has. The textures are interesting but I needed a different f stop to keep more of the flower in focus even if that meant the background was not as blurred. The challenge though, was that I took this outdoors and there was a slight breeze so I needed a reasonably fast speed.
