Driving by the local pond today I noticed this heron, out of the corner of my eye, and of course had no camera with me. Almost unbelievably, after I rushed home for my camera, and came back he was still there, just a little further down the shore...I guess he must have wanted his picture taken. It is IMO better seen larger.
