I didn't go looking for yet another bee shot but when I went out to fill the bird feeder I saw the biggest bumble bee I've ever seen working it's way around my sedum plant and so I couldn't resist running for the camera and macro lens.Fortunately the flowers in my garden right now are few so the sedum is one of the only available fueling stops for the bees and wasps these days and when I got back out it was still bumbling around the same plant.
I have felt the same way. I'll think the last thing I want to take a picture of is a bee and that seems like all I come across that looks interesting. Great macro Joanne! Great detail on the bee!
