Pear and Paper

Too wet and rainy to go out so I looked for a subject around the house and came up with this.

It's beautiful! Love the simplicity. I can't say as I have ever seen a white pear before. What kind is it?

@boatpainter It isn't really a white pear. It was pale green with reddish speckles but I took the shot with and IR filter which tends to make leaves and other natural green things look white (something to do with the chlorophyll and how it interacts with IR light). Then you can adjust the colour a bit in photoshop to bring out the tones you want.
